Who we are

We Listen Kent and Medway is a mental health support hub, where you can find free NHS talking therapies in your local area. Our partnership Is made up of eight providers; Dover Counselling Centre, FCS Talking Therapies, ieso Digital Health, Insight IAPT, North Kent Mind, University Medical Centre Psychological Therapy, Vita Health Group and We Are With You.

Personal data and special categories of personal data

Personal data is defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679) as ‘any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified in particular by reference to an identifier’. Personal data is, in simpler terms, any information about you that enables you to be identified.

In order for us to connect you with a service provider they will need to collect personal data including health information which is a special category of personal data. All our providers are committed to ensuring that the information we collect, and use, is appropriate for this purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy. Our partners will process (collect, store and use) the information you provide in a manner compatible with the UK’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Changes to this privacy notice

We may change this Privacy Notice from time to time. This may be necessary, for example, if the law changes, or if we change our business in a way that affects personal data protection.

Cookies

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
